Bonaire

Located just north of Venezuela in the southern Caribbean, Bonaire has over 470 fish species contained within its protected marine resources. The incredibly clear water gives way to one of the best underwater photography locations in the world, and oftentimes, you won’t even need to venture far from the shoreline to explore the pristine, vibrant ecosystem. Toss in the protected wildlife areas on land, and you can easily see why Bonaire is routinely ranked as one of the top destinations in the Caribbean.

Bonaire has something to offer to all vacationers.  It is a beautiful destination for all snorkelers, divers, adventure-seekers and nature lovers—this Dutch Caribbean island offers what you’re looking for. Bonaire’s coral reef is just a few feet from the shoreline, making it a prime location for underwater activities. The island also features 350 miles of nature trails as well as a 13,500-acre national park, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to go hiking and biking with sightings of flamingos and parrots along the way.

With an arid climate and little rainfall, Bonaire offers year-round diving and exceptionally clear waters. The water temperature rarely falls below 77 F (25 C) and peaks around 84 F (29 C). Visit from December to April to make the most of this island paradise.

This is truly a vacation for everyone.  At Captain Don's Habitat you are immersed in paradise from the beautiful pool overlooking the turquoise blue waters to the resort spa and so much more.
